Immaterial Dreams is a textile work that hangs on the wall and stretches down to the floor. It occupies a kind of in-between state of wall piece and sculpture, intended to raise questions about the undefined and indeterminate that consequently surrounds every defined object. When does something become a thing? These reflections come together in a play of materials and textures, language and visual form, creating layered possibilities of meaning and interpretation.
